With cosmetic contact lenses you can easily and safely change the color of your eyes.

Instructions will help you in using your lenses.

Fitting contact lenses

But keep in mind instructions do not give you all the necessary information you will need for wearing contact lenses, it is very important to consult your eyecare practitioner and to follow their advice,

Lenses are meant to be changed after their wear by date, when you extend wearing lenses more than their exceeded time the lenses will collect debris which will cause discomfort in your eyes.

Please note these instructions are guidelines, for a more in depth veiw on fitting contact lenses please contact your eye practitioner.

Insertion

Always wash and dry your hands before handling your contact lenses. Remove the lens from the package. make it a habit of handling the right lens first which will prevent you from mixing up you lenses. Place the lens on you index finger. check the lens is clean and the right side is up. [fig 1&2] Incorrect correct

Hold your upper eye lid open with your left hands index and second finger. At the same time hold your lower lid open with your second finger on your right hand. Look straight at your eye in the mirror and slowly and gently place the lens on your eye. [fig 3]

Then carefully release your eyelids and blink.

You can gently massage your eyelid to centre the lens.

Removal

Look up and hold your lower eye lid down. Pull the lens downwards, and gently with you index finger and your thumb pinch the edges of the lens and remove it from you eye [fig 4]

Disinfection

Always before inserting the lens and after removing it from the eye, rinse the lens with contact lenses solution. Afetr wearing your lenses, store them in a case filled with fresh contact lens solution.

If you do wear lenses infrequently, change the contact lens solution in the case with fresh solution once a week.
